bulletA technical committee is being formed that will go over bids. June or July is when the bids are expected to be released.
bulletConstruction on the trail is expected this fall. There will be more extensive work needed on some bridges than previously expected due to wash-out on this section of trail.
bulletThe Trail Commission was asked if it was interested in acquiring an old depot located in Armada. This depot could be moved onto the trail. It could end up as a sight to see along the trail? The Friends group was asked if it would be interested in it as a special project. We discussed we would only be interested if it were moved first. Then we could take on the refurbishing. It is also possible though that the Village of Armada could want to keep it.
bulletThere will be no grand opening of the trail as of now.
