the November, 2004 meeting minutes. |
| Treasurer’s report by Chuck Mabley shows an end of the month of November
balance of $5,538.32 and end of December balance of $5,588.15. Motion made by
Rich Platz to approve the report. Seconded by John Tarantino and accepted. |
| Correspondence
| A request from the Richmond Chamber of Commerce Ice Festival came asking
us if we would like to be a sponsor again. The Ice Festival is on February
12 & 13 and the cost of sponsorship will be $100 for advertisement. Rich
Platz makes a motion to donate and it is seconded by Christine Hamilton. |
| Emails have had good feedback. There have been requests for trail maps.
Neil will see what he can do about putting one in PDF form on the website. |
| We received a request from the Boy Scouts about putting bat houses along
the trail. |

| Covered bridge report (Neil Kocsis):
| Neil said if a builder wasn’t involved $3,000 would need to be charged
to cover liabilities. Kirsch informed him also that a builder’s license
would have to be included when officiating the blueprints. We need to find a
builder. Lombardo is a possible local business. Does anyone know any other
possibilities? Home Depot? |

| Election
| There will be a March/April issue. |
| The election results, as counted by Neil Kocsis, are the reelection of
Christine Hamilton, Rich Platz, Chuck Mabley, and Dave Rumohr. Rich Platz
makes a motion to accept the results and is seconded by Dennis Tipsword. |
| The election of officers will be next month. |

| Michigander update (Dave Rumohr)
| The ride will be using part of the trail. They are currently
coordinating the final part of the ride towards Algonac with a possible stop
in Richmond. |

| New Business
| Do we need to discuss possible new directions for our charter and our
involvement? Let’s set up some rides to promote the trail. We will set the
dates next month and include in the newsletter. |

| It is decided there will be no meeting in February. Our next meeting
will be March 22. |
