Guidelines for Friends Group Adopt a Trail Coordinator

1.      Get completed Adopt a Trail form from the team leader.

2.      Forward to County contact, the group information for their trailside signs (2).

3.  The adopting group leader is responsible for contacting the Macomb County Road Commission for trash bags and trash pickup. They should contact Sharon Schueler at the Road Commission on 586 463-8671 ex. 1104

4.      Get a copy of the group’s cleanup day signup sheet and after cleanup report. Note any problems/issues raised by the group and if necessary, forward them to the county.
